Make caring your career and graduate in only 12 months. During this online program, you can study from the comfort of your home while receiving hands-on training in our health care aide lab—conveniently located in our Wetaskiwin campus.
Once you graduate, you can find employment working in retirement homes, continuing care facilities, hospitals, and more.

Practical Nurses are essential to Alberta’s health care system. Our popular and highly recognized Practical Nurse diploma prepares you for a rewarding career providing quality care to patients. Gain hands-on training through labs and graduate with 680 hours (approximately four months) of work experience through clinical placements.

Designed for adults with mild developmental disabilities, our Transitions to Employment program provides essential employment preparation training to improve skills and increase confidence. Students graduate with 450 hours (almost three months) of work experience and can complete the program in only 10 months.
