After the exhilarating buzz of the first week back on campus, NorQuest College was ready to kick off the second week with a bang. September 5 marked the official return after the long Labour Day weekend, and the NorQuest community was determined to make it memorable.
The Singhmar Centre for Learning Atrium transformed into a hub of excitement as learners, faculty and staff gathered for a special event called Coffee with Carolyn.
The event was reflective of how learner engagement is at the heart of the NorQuest 2030: We Are Who We Include strategy. The college is committed to fostering a connected community, and having the leadership team accessible to both staff and students is a remarkable step forward. It speaks volumes about NorQuest's forward-thinking approach, igniting a sense of belonging and unity within the campus walls.
NorQuest President, Carolyn Campbell, personally greeted every student and staff member in attendance, supported by the leadership team connecting with everyone while serving at the muffin table.
But the excitement didn't end with coffee and treats. The selfie station, adorned with vibrant fall-themed decorations, beckoned students to capture the moment with their classmates and instructors. Rohit, a first-year student, couldn't contain his excitement. He said, "I've never seen a school where the management actually takes the time to greet students. This is great!"
NorQuest College is not just a place of learning; it was a vibrant hub of collaboration and inspiration, building connections and a sense of belonging for all who walk through its doors.
