NorQuest College is a comprehensive community college with a rapidly growing applied research program. The Building Equity, Diversity, and Inclusions in NorQuest College Research initiative leverages the college’s public recommitment to being more equitable, inclusive, and diverse and to becoming an anti-racist organization. Over two years, the initiative will examine in-depth the underlying structural, formal, informal, and personal barriers to full engagement in the college’s research enterprise and learning and development activities. It will also identify core areas for improvement in its talent recruitment and management and undertake strategic interventions to improve EDI college wide, including establishing the data and operational processes needed to ensure continuous improvement going forward.
