Students will demonstrate the entry-level skills and competencies of a child and youth care worker under the supervision of the NorQuest practicum supervisor and a designated mentor in the community setting. In the seminar portion, activity planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as Indigenous ways of knowing and being, will be further explored. Learners will observe and discuss child and youth care practice, and develop observation and assessment skills in Indigenous and multicultural contexts.Note: Prerequisite CYCD 2100
