This course provides an overview of energy management, unit conversions, basic principles of mass and energy balance, energy management trends, types of energy production, and greenhouse gas management. Through a mix of theoretical and practical instruction, students will learn how to analyze and manage energy use in different settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The course will cover the environmental impacts of energy production and how to reduce emissions through sustainable energy practices. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of greenhouse gas management and basics of GHG accounting, including the tools and methods used to measure and report emissions. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply these concepts to real-world situations, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a career in energy management.Note: Restricted to Energy Management and Open Studies
