This course examines aspects of operations of facilities and organizations that can be managed to reduce energy and water waste and emissions. The role of technology in direct digital controls systems for building and process operations will be explored. Tools and programs to support operations improvements will be evaluated. Students will become familiar with building automation systems (BAS) and advanced analytics tools for use in maintenance, continuous optimization, and recommissioning.Note: Prerequisites: ENRG 1001, ENRG 1002, ENRG 1003
