Renewable Energy Systems - ENRG 1016

In this course, students will critically assess the use of renewable energy systems for different applications. Issues such as policy and technical limitations will be explored to justify choices. Grid technology, including microgrids, will be examined. Students will study the technical impacts on the grid by advanced technology such as electric vehicles, energy storage, and microgeneration. State-of-the-art grid, storage, and alternative technologies will be explored.
