During this introductory practicum placement, students are introduced to the role of recreation therapy assistant in a recreation therapy service agency, where they will provide client-centered care under the supervision of a recreation therapy professional. This first-year practicum placement will provide students with the opportunity to practice team and professional communication while demonstrating an understanding of clients and to plan and implement program sessions.Note: Students must complete all TRD courses before being allowed to enrol in RPRT 2000Note: Prerequisites: ASCL 1000, TRDC 1003, TRDC 1010, TRDC 1020, PATH 1020, & DEMC 1011
