This course builds upon previous knowledge of human anatomy and physiology by exploring the pathological processes underlying diseases and disorders that produce alterations in human physiological function. The etiology, pathophysiology, complications, and clinical manifestations of select acute and chronic alterations across the lifespan are examined to gain a basic understanding of these pathophysiological changes.
