Digital and Technical Skills for Insurance Professionals - XBUS 3013

This course looks towards the future of the insurance industry and what skills successful professionals will require. Learners will begin by looking at what digitization means for the industry – what changes are happening now and what are likely to occur going forward. This will be followed by a deeper dive into what technology in the industry will mean for them, as insurance professionals. Specific technology examples will be explored. Finally, to highlight the importance of having proficiency with current technology in order to be able to embrace its future, learners will develop and/or refine essential skills within Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
