Building Critical Thinking Skills in English Language Learners - XLAN 2088

Developing critical-thinking skills helps English language learners enhance their communication. Through intentional critical-thinking tasks, instructors can help learners expand their vocabulary, strengthen their accuracy and fluency, and use language for different purposes in a variety of contexts. During this engaging and interactive workshop, participants will explore what critical thinking is and acquire strategies and tips for helping learners develop these skills, as well as practical communicative activities instructors can use to foster learners’ critical thinking.
