Students who complete the Settlement Studies program receive credit towards the Disability Studies program at NorQuest College.

Transferability

At NorQuest College, we strongly believe in helping our students and alumni find pathways into further education and future career advancement. Through university transfer agreements, graduates can build on the education they received at NorQuest and pursue new opportunities.

Settlement Studies graduates can apply for a transfer to Athabasca University and receive 30 credits towards these post-diploma programs:

• Bachelor of Human Resources/Labour Relations Post Diploma
• Bachelor of Management Post Diploma
• Bachelor of Commerce Post Diploma
• Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics Major) Post-Diploma Program
• Bachelor of Science (Computer and Information Systems) Post-Diploma Program
• Bachelor of Science Post-Diploma Program

In addition to these programs, Settlement Studies graduates can also receive 60 credits to Athabasca University’s:

• Bachelor of Professional Arts (Human Services Major)
• Bachelor of Professional Arts (Governance – Law & Management Major)
• Bachelor of Professional Arts (Criminal Justice Major)
• Bachelor of Professional Arts (Communication Studies Major)
